Queeriosities is a collaborative program by Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains (PPRM) and FCCAN. Born out of a need for spaces for fellow LGBTQ+/queer adults to more easily find each other and connect, PPRM and FCCAN have been collaborating on Queeriosities since the summer of 2023.

Our community spaces are thoughtfully-crafted, intentionally inclusive, and prioritize community input. We hold monthly community member planning sessions where folks help us plan events, provide feedback on needs they have, and/or suggest future events for us to create together. We are passionate about Queeriosities being a community-driven effort.

Please contact queeriosities@fccan.org to connect with us or learn how to get involved.

Our Work

  • A Panel for Queer Folks by Queer Folks

This was our first event! Our five panelists reflected on coming out, where they find community, how their other identities impact how they show up as a queer person, how they find queer joy, etc. Folks in attendance were able to ask questions and later connect with panelists over food, drinks, and games!

  • HoliGAY Art Market

We uplifted and put money in the pockets of queer makers and creatives. Held at Odell, 12 creatives, as well as local Latina- and queer-owned food truck, Brazi Eats, gathered to share their creations with the Fort Collins community. And boy, did the community turn out! We hope to make this an annual fixture in our community.

  • Day of Love & Friendship Queer Mixer

Whether you were looking for friendship, community, or love, we gathered queer Northern Coloradoans together over games, food, drinks, and fun. Making connections in Fort Collins can be really challenging, so we sought to hold space for making connections, in whatever way folks were looking for.
